Being native to North America they require a Migratory Bird Permit. Exellent bird for the begginer. Buitiful feather pattern and color, being only compared to its close cousin the Mandarin. They are a hardy a easy bird to keep. Will color and breed within their first year. Will accept raised nest boxes when breeding.
