-breeding in Svalard, wintering on the England/Scotland border

Even though this bird is not native to North America, they are consider accidental species, and require a migratory bird permit.
About the size of a Cackler Canada. They are a excellent Goose for the beginner, they are Canadian winter hardy. Like most geese the will usually start to breed in their third year, and pick a partner for life.
