Description:
Hooded Mergansers are native to North America and require permit to keep.
The first Merganser most will purchase. Require a higher protein diet, than other waterfowl. Having very short legs they are not agile on land. Should have access to open water twelve months of the year. Like most sea ducks will color and breed in their second year.
